I can’t believe how big they got. Amazing 2 more super birds coming soon
The first-born did not allow the runt to get food. I watched this happening during one of the feeding times several days ago. Then he attacked the runt’s neck. The next day, the runt was no longer moving. Appeared dead. Probably very weak from lack of nourishment plus the hideous attack.
What happened to the runt?
What happened to the small one
Question for the experts:
We have an active nest on our property in Eastport. This is the third season the parents have hatched chicks. This year they hatched three chicks and all were thriving. They were just getting ready to fledge last week, when one morning, we awoke to find two of the chicks were dead. One was caught up in the nest and the other was on the ground below. Upon examination of the bird on the ground, there was no blood, only a small puncture to the head. Do you have any ideas as to what could have happened?
LOL!!!! WOW, that little birdie sure can make a mess! Now i understand why the screen looked soooo, well foggy! That makes sense. 🙂
I watched that happen live and thought it was rather rude. It tells you what he thinks of us. Also watched a few days prior when they got mom right in the side of the face. Ewwww.
I saw it live as well. Pretty funny.
Wow , he must of had a lot to eat that day…??
how do u make those faces judy?
Oh my goodness!!!!
