Guys I am looking for some help. I have an Osprey platform and nest behind my house in the creek. Last year we had Ospreys best. I would like to enhance the pole and build a better platform and put a camera up for everyone’s enjoyment. If anyone has any suggestions on how I might tackle this project I would love the help. My email is gmarnold36@hotmail.com my cell is 516-319-4642
I just found out about this from news day article 8/1. When they freed the baby’s leg I only saw 2 babies. But watching 6/19 feeding there was 3 babies. What happened to the third.this web cam is so relaxing to watch. Right now in Baldwin harbor by my house, there is a flock of those green parrots making a ruckus in the trees . It’s refreshing to watch this and the rescuers were just wonderful to do what they did. 85 feet up in the air is too high for me, thank god there are people like them out there to protect our wonderful wildlife!
It’s called siblicide and is quite common. If the parents had fed and protected it a little more it might have made it but they had bad weather and a food shortage. Goodbye little runt.
I love watching this Its fulfilling, relaxing and enjoyable is this world of terrible things to see this for a few minutes each day keeps me going. Thank you

Unfortunately baby number 3 was killed by its siblings.
